so there is all this commotion
i.e. "nuh-uh, you best not be usein' no racial slurs, dawg!"
And they (as in the general public) want him fired.
FINE, I don’t really care, using that particular word is not...nice...at all
but still I wonder, what if that coach was black? Would there still be an outcry? Still be clamor for his resignation?
now, this is my question to you:
how can a word be ok for one group of people to use, and not another?
And isn’t that inhibiting freedom of speech?
And isn’t inhibiting someone’s rights because of their race significantly WORSE then calling them a name because of it?
This in no way means that I condone him saying this…because, I don’t. Frankly, I am just disgusted by the double standard.
